•Take a day trip to the world-famous St Hilarion Castle. Packed with history and amazing views, this is reputedly where Walt Disney got the inspiration for the castle in "Snow White"!

•Visit Bellapais Abbey and take in the majestic ruins

•Take a stroll down to the beautiful Kyrenia Harbour and enjoy a cool drink

•Have a pizza and watch a beautiful Sunset at Kervansaray Beach bar

•Try the famous Chewing gum ice cream at the entrance to Kyrenia Harbour

•Explore the incredible ruins of Salamis, near Famagusta

•Enjoy a traditional Hamam (Turkish Bath)

•Enjoy a fun day or night Go Karting

•Relieve some stress and have a go at paintballing!

•Have a go at scuba diving from one of the beautiful Mediterranean beaches

•Take part in some of the beautiful flower walks available in the hills

•Enjoy a round of golf

•Visit the Karpaz peninsula and see the tip of the island, fantastic beaches and unspoilt beauty

•See the famous donkeys in the DipKarpaz National Park

•Watch turtles hatching, an amazing experience by moonlight in the months of August and September.

•Take a leap from one of the highest mountains and paraglide down for some amazing views!

•Enjoy a great day out on many of the boat trips available from Kyrenia harbour, most with lunch included

•Dance under the stars at one of the many outdoor night clubs

•Take a walk amongst the famous Cypriot olive groves in Catalkoy

•Explore the Famagusta city walls, whose construction was advised by none other than Leonardo DaVinci.

•Watch a traditional Turkish belly-dancer shake her hips like you’ve never seen!

•Watch the amazing Turkish Red Arrows fighter Jets do their annual display in July

•Visit the magnificent Kantara Castle

•Explore Buffavento Castle, steeped in history dating back to Richard the Lionheart

•Visit The Blue House."Mavi Kosk" is open daily except Mondays. It is within a military area, so you have to leave your passport or photo identity at the gate when you enter

•Relax under The Tree of Idleness, the mulberry tree made famous in Laurence Durrell’s "Bitter Lemons of Cyprus"

•Visit the ruins of Vouni Palace, 250 m above sea level on a cliff top

•Try out many of the exciting water sports at the local beaches; windsurfing, para-sailing, jet skiing, banana boat and ringo rides!

•Take home some traditional Turkish Delight, for sale in most supermarkets and tourism spots

•Take a walk around Nicosia Market, locally known as the "Bandabulya". Open every day

•Visit Guzelyurt meaning "Beautiful Country", home of the beautiful citrus orchards

•Enjoy a real, traditional Turkish kebab at many of the local restaurants

•Enjoy a great meal with stunning sea views at the Ambiance Restaurant

•Adapt to the local culture; take a break from 1-3pm!

•Have a go at bowling at Kings Leisure Centre

•Try out the traditional "Nargile" (Hubbly Bubbly, or Shisha, a flavoured tobacco pipe) at Liman Harbour

•Take your chances and have a bet in one of the many casinos on the island

•Treat yourself to some fabulous, reasonably priced jewellery at the local jewellery shops

•Visit one of the oldest known shipwrecks in the world, displayed inside Kyrenia Castle. Sunk around 300BC!

•Enjoy a day of quad biking in the Mediterranean hills

•Have a fresh fish dinner at the stunning Kyrenia harbour

•Visit the museums in Nicosia, the island's capital

•Watch Turkish folk dancers perform a traditional dance

•Take home some fake designer handbags, on sale in Kyrenia town centre

•Try helloumi cheese, a local favourite

•Eat a REAL doner kebab!

•Try out the local drinks; Efes beer, raki, brandy sour and Turkish coffee

•Once you have enjoyed a Turkish coffee, why not ask a local to read your coffee cup and see what the future has in store?

•Learn to play backgammon, the traditional game you will see being played by the men sitting in coffee shops

•Visit the Lala Mustafa Pasa Mosque, where you can find the oldest known tree in North Cyprus; 712 years old!
